Positive: Excellent family run business. We were made to feel very welcome, the owners were helpful and friendly. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There was a tasty welcome pack on arrival also croissants, snacks and basic essentials tea, coffee milk etc... The bed was very comfortable and the room temperature was nice and cool during the hot weather. Excellent power shower plenty of towels and robes were provided. The surrounding area is beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. There was also a hot tub which was great and we tried out the BBQ perfect! We found plenty to do, in the surrounding area there is a local supermarket and McDonalds. Also close by there were car boots/flee markets ,food markets, good restaurants, great bars, boulangeries takeaway shops .... A short drive away there are beautiful little town Squares with bespoke shops, weekly markets, cafe's, etc. Every now and again when we were out and about we'd see stunning views of the Pyrenees. We visited a lovely park in Tarbes with an excellent museum, an outside cafe which sold delicious pizzas and refreshments, the grounds were well maintained with statues, beautiful flowers and peacocks running around. We also visited Saint Mont Winery and bought some excellent wine. We loved our stay in The Gers area and would definitely be back, ideal for a short break or long stay. Thank you to Sarah and her lovely family.
Summary: Quiet, Tranquil and comfortable with loads to do in the surrounding area, a definite thumbs up ....

Positive: It has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay and more. The bedroom living area is spacious, plenty of cupboard space and a large sofa. Many extra touches and care has gone into making the space comfortable, clean and relaxing. We really enjoyed sitting outdoors and liked all the twinkly lights! Sarah and Darren are very friendly and helpful hosts. Definitely one to return to :)
Negative: Nothing adverse to note - have stayed in many properties in this area and this is a great find.
Summary: Fabulous stay - well hosted in this very comfortable, relaxing and well equipped property.

Positive: Excellent communication about directions and check-in from owner, with the best 'welcome pack' I have ever seen! (Wished I had known, as I would not have needed to go to the supermarket en-route). Accommodation was spotless and fully equipped with everything you need, with lots of little touches, that make it feel like a home from home - the phots do not do it justice. Very peaceful and, whilst the owners will leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet, they are on hand to help with any issues or advice on local activities and restaurants etc. A great place if you love the French village/countryside experience and would definitely book next time I go to 'Marciac' as it is only 20mins away. Obviously, due to the location, you need a car to get there, but free parking outside your front door is provided.
Negative: It was difficult to criticise the accommodation at all, but to be ultra critical, the ambiance is so peaceful, you did hear some movement from the main house, when just sitting quietly. With the location, you should only expect real 'village' scenery and not sweeping countryside or mountains - you just need to drive a few miles for these.
